A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section eight, relating to
authorizing the public service commission to
promulgate a legislative rule relating to use of the
number "911".
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section eight, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS T0O PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-8. Public service commission.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on
the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred
ninety-six, under the authority of section ten, article
six, chapter twenty-four, of this code, modified by the
public service commission to meet the objections of the
legislative rule-making review committee and refiled in the
state register on the eighth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred ninety-seven, relating to the public service
commission (rules and regulations for the use of the number
"911", 150 CSR 15), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
Public Service Commission to promulgate a legislative rule
relating to Use of the Number "911".
